From smoking to dating, THE BOYZ members are currently at the center of multiple controversies and dating rumors that began on June 10, 2025. Along the way, several other celebrities’ names have come up. Here’s who, and why.
1. ASTRO
THE BOYZ‘ Hyunjae and Sangyeon have been accused of partying with girls. According to fans, the idols drank at someone’s home, where they were introduced to the girls in question. The photos from the party were allegedly taken by the girls, then posted on their Close Friends on social media.

After this news broke, more screenshots surfaced alleging that other groups had also been socializing after-hours with young influencers. ASTRO’s MJ and Cha Eunwoo were mentioned in one of these screenshots.

2. ATEEZ’s Mingi
Another screenshot claimed that ATEEZ‘s Mingi had been at the gathering and lied about his job while he was there.
One of the oppas said that he was a director at a skincare clinic, so I was like, ‘oh, I see.’ But I really had no clue who he was then, but he was ATEEZ’s Mingi. No wonder everyone kept calling him Mingi, but I just thought he was really a director. THE BOYZ, ENHYPEN, Stray Kids, and ATEEZ were present.

3. ENHYPEN And Stray Kids
ENHYPEN and Stray Kids were also named in the screenshots as idols who had attended the social gathering. It’s unclear from these screenshots if individual members allegedly attended or if the entire groups were there.

4. Shin Si A
Shin Si A is one of two actresses who is caught up in dating rumors with THE BOYZ’s Juyeon. According to fans, they were seen with “couple items,” including matching keychains and stickers. On June 10, 2025, Juyeon’s agency, One Hundred Label, addressed the allegations, stating: “After checking, we found that it is not true.”
5. Roh Yoon Seo
Fans have also accused Juyeon of dating actress Roh Yoon Seo. Fans claim they caught the stars traveling in the same van when they both attended the same Balenciaga show in Shanghai in 2025. They also pointed to matching jackets and fruit as evidence of a romantic relationship, along with a photo of Juyeon’s bag in Roh’s hotel room.
6. MONSTA X’s Hyungwon And Minhyuk
Last year, Hyungwon was photographed drinking with women, which led to backlash. He has also come under fire for dating rumors in the past.
Rumors now claim that THE BOYZ Sunwoo‘s current girlfriend is Hyungwon’s ex-girlfriend.

The girl Hyungwon from MONSTA X was dating switched over to Kim Sunwoo, so Minhyuk went to the waiting room and told Kim Sunwoo to get his act together.

Minhyuk has also been mentioned in relation to the controversy. On X, another anonymous account seemingly posted a photo of him and his alleged girlfriend that they say was taken during a date at Seoul Forest on Memorial Day (June 6). Sunwoo is allegedly dating an influencer known as @Juuhana on Instagram.
7. Afterschool’s Nana
The name of idol-turned-actress Nana has also come up, but for a completely different reason.
On June 11, on the fan chatting platform Fromm, Sunwoo shared messages with fans, telling them to disregard the rumors. He also offered a code for fans to join him in playing a game. After fans criticized his messages, he wrote this:

Fans replied with scathing messages, and some brought up his previous scandal from earlier this year. Nana criticized Sunwoo for allegedly behaving arrogantly towards staff in a viral video, where a security guard picked up his Airpods for him. Now, some netizens are bringing up Nana again, suggesting that Sunwoo needs to be called out again.
