Boys II Planet, the long-awaited sequel to Boys Planet, has finally begun and has already created some viral topics.
The show features 154 contestants competing to join the winning group, including several already-debuted and familiar faces. According to the program, the group will include 14 members: seven from the Chinese trainees and seven from the Korean trainees.
Many trainees have already gained attention for their handsome visuals and earned praise. However, one trainee’s appearance has sparked massive criticism and comparisons to another idol’s pre-transformation visuals.
Members of JYP Entertainment‘s BOY STORY, who debuted in 2018 and have primarily been active in China, were announced to compete among the Chinese trainees.
Member Zihao, the group’s lead vocalist and dancer, is among the three competing, and recently, his visuals were discussed online. In a viral post with over 1.3 million views, the idol was compared to ONE PACT‘s Yoon Jongwoo.
