A shocking incident involving a taxi driver in Busan is drawing nationwide attention.

Around 6 a.m., an intoxicated man in his 20s got into a taxi and suddenly began interrogating the driver about his political views.

When the driver replied that he didn’t follow politics, the passenger became aggressive, swearing and shaking the front seat.

Things escalated quickly and he allegedly pushed the driver onto a busy road, laughed, and even struck him in the head with his knee.

He suddenly asked, ‘Are you with the red party? The blue party?’ That’s how he brought it up. I told him I don’t know anything about politics and cut him off clearly. But then, out of nowhere, he said from the back, ‘You’re dead today, you f***er.
