G-Dragon‘s reasoning for appearing on Fridge Interview has sparked huge reactions amid the dating rumors with TWICE‘s Sana.
G-Dragon and Sana were embroiled in dating rumors, and the backlash for both stars increased ahead of the new episode of Fridge Interview, where G-Dragon was a guest.
On June 5, the episode came out with G-Dragon, Sana and also Dex.

During the episode, Dex asked G-Dragon why he wanted to come on the show.
The idol responded, “Mainly because I wanted to see you again and..” explaining about their interactions at the MAMAs and also a listening party.
The idol then added that while he wanted a chance to meet Dex again, he heard Sana was also on the show and thought, “Could I maybe see them both?” to help his decision.
When the clip was posted, it gained attention and netizens demanded an apology from fans who had spoken badly about G-Dragon, claiming he did the show for attention and to spark rumors with Sana. For them, they saw it as G-Dragon wanting to see Dex again and it was even better that the TWICE singer would be there so he could see them both again.
