“Hi-5” is off to a promising start at the Korean box office!

According to the Korean Film Council, “Hi-5” officially surpassed 1 million moviegoers on June 7 at 4:12 p.m. KST. The film was originally released on May 30, meaning that it took nine days to reach the milestone.

“Hi-5” is the fifth Korean film released in 2025 to hit the 1 million mark, following “Hitman 2,” “Dark Nuns,” “The Match,” and “YADANG: The Snitch.” Notably, “Hi-5” reached the milestone two days faster than “YADANG: The Snitch,” the most recent Korean film to surpass 1 million moviegoers.

In honor of the film’s achievement, stars Lee Jae In, Ahn Jae Hong, Ra Mi Ran, Kim Hee Won, Oh Jung Se, and GOT7’s Jinyoung posed for a celebratory photo together with director Kang Hyung Chul.

“Hi-5” is a comic action adventure about five people who unexpectedly gain superpowers through organ transplants and must defend themselves against those who seek to exploit their abilities.

Congratulations to the film’s cast and crew!
