Netizens are furious after comments seemingly show HYBE staff have spread negative rumors about ENHYPEN‘s Ni-ki.
In the past, Sunghoon had to assure ILLIT‘s Minju that he wasn’t mad after rumors he hated the ILLIT members for dressing up his plushie.
ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon Addresses Rumors That He Was “Mad” At ILLIT
It seems as if a similar clip has sparked backlash.
On June 6, Sunoo and Ni-ki were the latest guests on Minju’s Pink Cabinet.
During the episode, Ni-ki said that they should all share the drink. Minju explained that the director said, “One of the directors said that if you drink that Ni-Ki would get angry.”
Ni-ki was unsurprisingly taken aback, asking who had started the rumor and Minju even said that she was “scared” of the meeting.
After hearing what Minju said, Ni-ki replied, “Are they trying to make me seem like a scary senior at the company?” Yet, both the ENHYPEN members seemed calmer when Minju explained that meeting and talking to them had changed that perception.
When netizens saw the clip, combined with the “rumors” about Sunghoon, it sparked anger that HYBE staff were seemingly trying to cause discord and spread false lies about the ENHYPEN members to make them seem scary and unapproachable to their juniors.
