They also appreciate the small details the group’s nail tech puts into them. However, eagle-eyed fans have noticed an unfortunate trend.
Soyeon‘s nails went viral for not being as high quality as you’d expect from the nail tech of a popular K-Pop group — or even an average person.
i-dle’s nail tech uploaded a photo of Soyeon’s nails, tagging her on Instagram as well. The orange nails were poorly done and quickly received criticism.
In a viral post, fans criticized the nails for being super thick, having uneven texture, and not being properly shaped for each finger. Unfortunately, fans reminded everyone that it wasn’t the first time their nail tech did Soyeon’s nails poorly.

Because the idol often wears long nails, their nail tech appears to struggle with them. They’ve uploaded multiple photos of Soyeon’s nails over the years that were just as poorly done, with the nails being crooked, overly thick, and improperly sized.
Since the nail tech has been working with i-dle for years, it’s uncertain whether there will be any change to Soyeon’s nails in the future. But despite the mishappenings, Soyeon still looks great!
