Former TVXQ member turned solo star Kim Jaejoong decided to take a humorous approach responding to a hateful comment he received about the way he looked at the airport on June 13, 2025 (KST)—but actual photos from the said day have only left K-Pop fans completely flabbergasted.
On fromm, the fan messaging app, Kim Jaejoong shared a screenshot of a message he had received. The message, insisting on coming from a place of love, but filled with unnecessary criticism of his appearance, asked the idol to change his hair color because the current blonde “doesn’t look good” on him.
… so please listen. Your current hair color just doesn’t suit you. Really… no matter how generously I try to see it, it’s just not flattering. The part going straight down the center with the extra volume at the top… Even objectively speaking, no. It just doesn’t match you at all. Please, go back to a deeper, more composed color like dark brown or blue-black… And also… Just something natural. It has to be your natural hair. Not that overly styled, voluminous look, but the slightly blow-dried, neat and natural style you had on ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator.’ That clean, composed version of you… was truly the most beautiful. Please, just once, listen to what I’m saying. I’m begging you. Again, sincerely… Please think it over.

Kim Jaejoong explained that it might have looked different because he didn’t style it before leaving his house.
