I don’t know whether to be happy or not for C-actor Liu Yu Ning who will now have three back-to-back dramas within a span of two months. The Prisoner of Beauty came out in early May, followed by part 2 of Eternal Brotherhood at the end of that month, and now word is that A Dream Within a Dream is scheduled for end of June so in two weeks on June 28th. Dream just got its distribution license this week and reportedly test views with brand sponsors went well and iQiyi is pleased with the quality and thinks it has a hit on its hands and wants to piggyback on Liu Yu Ning’s current hot buzz thanks to TPoB. The female lead of Dream is Li Yi Tong who is always so unremarkable to me, neither bad nor good but just serviceable. But if the story is good and the execution strong I’m totally excited to have another drama to potentially to get hooked on.
