SBS’s upcoming drama “Our Movie” has offered a glimpse of the fateful first encounter of Jeon Yeo Been and Lee Seol!
“Our Movie” tells the poignant love story of Lee Je Ha (Namkoong Min), a film director struggling with an uncertain future, and Lee Da Eum (Jeon Yeo Been), an aspiring actress who is suffering from a terminal illness.
Da Eum is a passionate acting hopeful who, despite having little time left, continues to chase her dream. For someone like Da Eum—who has so many things she still longs to try—the ability to become anyone through acting is irresistibly alluring. Refusing to be defeated by her circumstances, Da Eum does everything she can to work toward her goal of becoming an actress.
In the newly released photos, Da Eum is frozen in place after unexpectedly spotting her idol, top actress Chae Seo Young (Lee Seol), while practicing her craft out in the world. The pure admiration shining in Da Eum’s eyes as she watches Seo Young perform up close is heartwarming.
Later, Da Eum ends up sitting beside Seo Young on a park bench, her excitement so intense it feels as if her heart might burst. Her expression, as if she can hardly believe what’s happening, perfectly conveys her overwhelming emotions.
Da Eum’s genuine and considerate way of expressing her admiration for Seo Young—while being mindful of the top star’s struggles with public scrutiny—is set to leave a lasting impression on Seo Young. Anticipation is high to see how a special bond begins to form between these two women.
“Our Movie” will premiere on June 13 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
