Considering how intense the battles and conflicts have become, we’re on the edge of our seats to see what’s going to happen next.

Initially published in 2014 by creator Kōhei Horikoshi, the manga series earned an anime adaptation by 2016 and has since been producing some seriously high-quality anime.

The series dares to ask the question of, in a world where almost everyone has a superpower (aka Quirks, in the language established by the My Hero Academia universe), what is it like to be someone who doesn’t? That’s where protagonist Izuku Midoriya (Deku) comes in.

My Hero Academia has long been established in the ‘big three’ of the modern Shonen anime, and it coming to a close signals the end of an era.

But what’s next on the horizon for fans of the franchise? Read on to learn everything we know about My Hero Academia season 8, including plot details, trailers, latest news and that all-important release date.
