Seowon will officially be leaving NINE.i.
On June 13, NINE.i’s agency FirstOne Entertainment announced Seowon’s departure from the group with the following statement:
Hello, this is NINE.i.
Seowon, who has been promoting as a member of NINE.i, has left the group due to personal reasons.
We sincerely apologize for the concern this sudden news may cause our fans.
Moving forward, NINE.i will continue activities as a seven-member group.
Once again, we are deeply sorry to cause hurt to fans with this sudden news.
NINE.i debuted as a 10-member group in 2022. Following the departures of Winnie in January 2024 and Joohyoung in March, the group will now continue as a seven-member team after Seowon’s exit.
Meanwhile, Seowon, who previously participated in Mnet’s “BOYS PLANET,” is set to appear again in “BOYS II PLANET K,” which will premiere on July 17.
