Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers for Ginny & Georgia Season 3.Ginny & Georgia‘s most recent season covered a lot of ground as Georgia (Brianne Howey) was put on trial for murder, and she, Ginny (Antonia Gentry), Austin (Diesel La Torraca), and everyone else in her life faced the repercussions of that. In the end, Georgia was found not guilty of murdering Tom Fuller (Vincent Legault), allowing her to return to her life. Yet, while Georgia’s trial had a happy ending, the series left more than enough cliffhangers. Fortunately, Netflix has already renewed the show for Season 4, but it will still be a while before we know what comes next for the Millers, and when it comes back, Ginny & Georgia will have to answer these questions.

Who Is the Father of Georgia’s New Baby?

During the season, Georgia tells Ginny that during her pregnancies, she always drank milk, so a few episodes later, when Ginny sees her doing so, she asks the question, receiving a horrified look from Georgia that implies there will be a new baby Miller. As much as Georgia loves her children, her hands are full with Ginny and Austin, meaning this pregnancy will complicate things; it just remains to be seen how. Already, Georgia has a very different relationship with the fathers of her children, and this new pregnancy will be the same, even though Ginny & Georgia has not yet revealed who the father is. There are two candidates who visited and had a relationship with Georgia during her house arrest: Paul Randolph (Scott Porter) and Joe (Raymond Ablack). Given that Paul and Georgia had a massive falling out, while she and Joe split amicably for her to focus on her children, one option provides more drama than the other. However, with unresolved feelings remaining between Georgia and Joe, both potential fathers present their own difficulties, and Season 4 will have to reveal who the father is.

Can Austin Live With His Choices?

Austin has been through a lot in Ginny & Georgia, and Season 3 only adds to that. The poor kid is put in a difficult position as he testified in Georgia’s trial. Not only does he have to lie to say she was innocent after witnessing the murder, but Ginny convinces him to accuse his father instead. In the end, Austin is shown to be angry, especially with Ginny, as he throws her out of his room. The situation is made harder by the fact that Austin did love Gil (Aaron Ashmore) despite his violence toward Georgia and Ginny and his manipulation of Austin. After this, Austin has several emotional scars to deal with, and fortunately, Georgia tells Ginny he will be going to therapy, but can he shoulder the burden of that guilt as Gil’s life is forever changed by his lie?

Will Gil Be Found Guilty of Tom’s Murder?

In Season 3, Gil slips out of the courtroom after Austin accuses him of smothering Tom Fuller, but after that claim, someone will undoubtedly be looking for him. A reporter later mentions that Gil does not respond to his summons for questioning. If Gil is caught, he will face a murder trial of his own. While Gil has a criminal record, displays a history of violence, and did attack Georgia on the night of Tom’s death, unlike Georgia, he is actually not guilty. This means there could be compelling evidence to disprove Austin’s claims, and Austin himself could likely be called as a witness in yet another murder trial concerning a parent. The Miller family is not really safe until this case is put to rest.

Will Ginny Face Consequences for Blackmailing Cynthia?

For the plan to frame Gil to work, Ginny had to get Cynthia Fuller (Sabrina Grdevich) to acknowledge the possibility of Gil sneaking into her house and murdering her husband, and to do so, she used blackmail, following in Georgia’s footsteps. After rumors of Cynthia’s brief affair with Joe in Blue Farm reach Ginny, she goes to the widow, claiming there are cameras in the restaurant and she has proof of the relationship, potentially making Cynthia a compelling suspect. It’s a lie, which Cynthia learns from confronting Joe, but Ginny’s trick freed Georgia. However, Cynthia now knows that Ginny is up to something, and she is not the kind of character to let things lie. Cynthia’s dislike for the Millers will only grow, but the real question is, will she do anything about it, or will Ginny get away with following in Georgia’s footsteps?

How Will Zion’s Custody Case Impact His Relationship With Georgia?

Season 3 showed Ginny’s father, Zion (Nathan Mitchel), taking a major step as he learned the truth behind Ginny’s life with Georgia and took on more responsibility with Ginny. In fact, in the finale, he tells Georgia he wants to make it official and pursue joint custody. With Ginny having expressed a desire to have both her parents in her life, he is likely to get it, and that is healthy for Ginny, but how will this change affect Georgia and Zion’s relationship? For Ginny’s entire life, they have been in an on-again-off-again relationship, where Zion failed to see Georgia’s flaws, but things seem to be changing. In Season 3, he learned several uncomfortable truths about Georgia, motivating him to report her, which temporarily gave him custody of Ginny. Though Zion is the ex who Georgia gets along with the best, they will clearly face more drama in Season 4.

What’s the Full Story About Georgia’s Father?

Little is known about Georgia’s father, which made his attempts to contact her in Season 3 all the more surprising. Georgia reveals that Shane Reilly is serving time for attempted murder, which happened when she was a child. Yet when she finally picks up the phone in Season 3, he is thrilled to talk to her. There is something odd about his story, especially as he spends the few minutes before Georgia hangs up to warn her that if he could find her, her mother and stepfather could, too. It seems like Georgia’s father knows something even she doesn’t, setting up a new mystery for the series.

What Do Georgia’s Mother and Stepfather Want?

Since Season 1, Ginny & Georgia has shown that Georgia has distanced herself from her childhood by changing her name and avoiding contact with her sister. And it’s not hard to guess why. Her mother was an addict, and her stepfather was sexually abusive. After running away from home, Georgia returned once to shoot her stepfather in the hand, and Zion believes that if he hadn’t been there, she might have murdered him. Georgia has done a thorough job of removing herself from that life, but due to the public nature of her trial, Georgia cannot hide from her past anymore, and the finale shows her mother and stepfather driving by her house in Wellsbury. Not only does this bring up Georgia’s trauma, but paired with the warning from her father, there is something going on. Though they haven’t yet tried to approach the house, they aren’t there for a friendly visit.

Will Georgia and Joe Ever Get Together?

Perhaps the most disappointing answer Season 3 gave is that Georgia and Joe would not be pursuing a relationship. There’s been a slow-burning romance going on between them for some time, but with Georgia in a relationship with Paul, who seems like a good guy (at least until the events of Season 3), it wasn’t really going anywhere. Then, in Season 3, they grow closer and even sleep together, making Joe a possible father for Georgia’s unborn child. They split amicably when Georgia decides to honor her kids’ wishes of spending some time as a trio. However, that is before she realizes she is pregnant. Either due to the pregnancy or simply with time, there is still hope for Georgia and Joe to get together, and Season 4 seems like the right time with Paul out of the picture.

Will Rehab Help Marcus?

One of the most heartbreaking conflicts in Ginny & Georgia is Marcus’ (Felix Mallard) storyline as he struggles with depression, which in Season 3 involves a drinking problem. Though his parents, Ellen (Jennifer Robertson) and Clint (Chris Kenopic), do everything they can, Marcus doesn’t stop drinking. In fact, it only gets worse. He shows up to school drunk several times, which explains why he is failing his classes and will likely have to repeat his sophomore year. Max (Sara Waisglass) expressed her concerns about him to Ellen, breaking Marcus’ trust for his own sake, and in the finale, Ellen is seen driving him to a rehab facility, though Marcus doesn’t want to go. With the series leaving off with him on his way to rehab, Season 4 will have to explain how the experience goes for him. Hopefully, getting the help he needs will put Marcus on a less self-destructive path, but the treatment can only be effective if he is willing to try.

Will Max Finally Get Someone to Understand Her?

Season 3 offers fans a glimpse into Max’s mind, revealing the anxiety she feels over her brother’s situation and the insecurities that are exacerbated by the way her friends are treating her. Ginny, Abby (Katie Douglas), and Norah (Chelsea Clark) are growing closer, but in the process, they leave Max out, keeping secrets from her and dismissing her feelings. This group of friends has been toxic throughout the series, and by the end of Season 3, it is once again fractured, as Max is completely isolated. When Max goes to her friends to discuss her feelings, Abby calls her dramatic, and later, Ginny blows her off. Max needs someone to respect her feelings, and if no one is willing to be there for her, maybe it’s time for her to forge new friendships. As it goes forward, Ginny & Georgia will have to show how Max deals with the lonely situation Season 3 leaves her in. With these questions to answer, and more besides, Ginny and Georgia‘s Season 4 return will no doubt be highly anticipated.

Ginny & Georgia Season 3 is streaming on Netflix in the U.S.
