According to reports from June 6, KST, model Kim Jong Suk has passed away, sending shockwaves through the Korean entertainment industry.

Kim reportedly passed away earlier this week, on June 4. His family confirmed the news on June 6, the day his funeral was held. His sister posted on her social media, stating that the family was in utter shock with Kim’s sudden death and urged netizens to refrain from spreading baseless rumors or posting hate comments at this time of mourning.
The reason for Kim Jong Suk’s death has not been disclosed to the public. The news was first shared by one of his friends on social media on June 5.

Another acquaintance posted a picture of a funeral wreath from his memorial service, writing, “I still can’t believe it…I hope you’re at peace now, without any pain.”

Kim’s funeral was held on the morning of June 6 at the Maru Park Funeral Home in Hanam. He was laid to rest at Chuncheon Rest Garden and Yanggu Memorial Park.
The 29-year-old model was active on social media right before his passing, making his last post just three days prior. Fans and peers flooded his posts with comments expressing their disbelief and pain at his untimely passing. However, by the afternoon of June 6, his Instagram account was made private by his family.
Kim’s first showstopping moment was an ad for the men’s grooming brand, DASHU. But he truly started rising to fame with his 2022 appearance on tvN‘s variety show, The Skip Dating, hosted by Yoo Jae Suk, Jeon So Min, and Nuksal.
