Well this is a wildly out of left field and unexpected male lead casting. I along with probably the majority of viewers of Yumi’s Cells just went on a major Google fest to find out who this newb male actor is haha. Young and relative rookie K-actor Kim Jae Won has been confirmed to play Yumi’s third and final love interest in the story Shin Soon Rok for the upcoming season 3 of the drama. Kim Jae Won has about 6 dramas under his belt as smaller supporting to guest starring roles to the third male lead so this is a big step up. Not sure why the production cast him as there are lots of actors fans have been clamoring for, of course the big name stars won’t take this but there are other male lead who have more track record to be cast. Kim Go Eun is returning as the female lead and she’s hot off winning the Baeksang movie side Best Actress and remains the top of her generation so it’s even more wonderful that she will come back to wrap up the story of Yumi properly.
