Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has revealed its latest monthly and weekly chart rankings!
Monthly Album Chart
SEVENTEEN achieved a double crown for the month of May with their new album “HAPPY BURSTDAY” and its title track “THUNDER,” topping both the physical album chart and digital download chart.
All of the top five spots on this month’s physical album went to new releases: “HAPPY BURSTDAY” debuted at No. 1, RIIZE’s “ODYSSEY” at No. 2, BOYNEXTDOOR’s “No Genre” at No. 3, i-dle’s “We are” at No. 4, and BTS’s Jin’s “Echo” at No. 5.
Weekly Album Chart
ENHYPEN swept the top two spots on the weekly physical album chart with their new mini album “DESIRE: UNLEASH.” The regular version of the EP debuted at No. 1, while the Weverse version charted separately at No. 2.
A month after its initial release, the SMC version of NCT WISH’s “poppop” shot back up to No. 3 on this week’s chart, followed by the MINIRECORD version of i-dle’s “We are i-dle” at No. 4 and the kiwee album version of EXO’s Baekhyun’s “Essence of Reverie” at No. 5.
Monthly Digital Chart + Streaming Chart
10CM also achieved a double crown for May with “To Reach You,” which topped both the overall digital chart and the streaming chart for the month.
The top five songs on this month’s overall digital chart and streaming chart were exactly the same: “To Reach You” came in at No. 1, WOODZ’s “Drowning” at No. 2, BLACKPINK’s Jennie’s “like JENNIE” at No. 3, ZO ZAZZ’s “Don’t you know” at No. 4, and aespa’s “Whiplash” at No. 5.
Weekly Digital Chart
10CM similarly earned a double crown on the weekly charts, where “To Reach You” also topped both the overall digital chart and the streaming chart.
WOODZ’s “Drowning” rose to No. 2 on this week’s overall digital chart, trailed by IU’s “Never Ending Story” at No. 3, SEVENTEEN’s “THUNDER” at No. 4, and ZO ZAZZ’s “Don’t you know” at No. 5.
Weekly Streaming Chart
The top five songs on this week’s streaming chart were almost exactly the same as the overall digital chart, except Jennie’s “like JENNIE” took No. 4 for the week.
Monthly Download Chart
SEVENTEEN claimed three of the top four spots on the digital download chart for May with songs from their new album “HAPPY BURSTDAY.” Their title track “THUNDER” debuted at No. 1 on the monthly chart, while Wonwoo’s solo song “99.9%” and Joshua’s solo song “Fortunate Change” entered the chart at No. 3 and No. 4 respectively.
Lim Young Woong’s “Heavenly Ever After” stayed strong at No. 2 for the month, and 10CM’s “To Reach You” rounded out the top five.
Weekly Download Chart
SEVENTEEN’s “THUNDER” also topped the weekly digital download chart, while ENHYPEN’s new title track “Bad Desire (With or Without You)” debuted at No. 2.
IU swept the next two spots on the chart, with “Never Ending Story” and “Square’s dream” rising to No. 3 and No. 4 respectively.
Finally, 10CM’s “To Reach You” jumped to No. 5 for the week.
Monthly Global K-Pop Chart
BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” held onto its spot at No. 1 on the global K-pop chart for May, while Jennie’s “like JENNIE” and aespa’s “Whiplash” maintained their respective positions at No. 2 and No. 3.
Jin’s “Don’t Say You Love Me” debuted at No. 4 on the monthly chart, with MEOVV’s “HANDS UP” rounding out the top five.
Weekly Global K-Pop Chart
The top five songs on this week’s global K-pop chart were exactly the same as last week: Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” remained No. 1, followed by Jennie’s “like JENNIE” at No. 2, Jin’s “Don’t Say You Love Me” at No. 3, SEVENTEEN’s “THUNDER” at No. 4, and aespa’s “Whiplash” at No. 5.
