Hygiene is essential daily, but can be considered even more important when interacting with your favorite idols. NCT’s Doyoung recently went viral for seemingly “calling out” fans during the group’s recent tour, something highly embarrassing to everyone involved.
There once was a female idol who — politely — called out her fans for being smelly during meet-and-greets.
SKE48, one of AKB48‘s sister groups, is located in the Sakae district in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, and functions similarly.
One of the group’s third generation, Matsumura Kaori, previously made headlines with her dark revelation about her treatment of the plushies she received from fans.
She made headlines again in 2019 when she “called out” fans following a meet-and-greet event. In a tweet, Matsumura posted two photos of deodorant and shared that a female fan complained of the smell in the hall.

She followed up with other deodorizing suggestions, which seemingly were heeded as she did not complain of smells again up until he departure from SKE48 in 2019.

The following year, she announced her marriage to a non-celebrity, and gave birth to their child in 2023.
These days, she is still a popular television personality and is near the end of her second pregnancy! She is active on social media, but seems to have not updated for a couple of weeks, potentially due to giving birth!
