‘Despicable Me 4’
After welcoming a new addition to the family, Gru Jr., Gru is forced to face one of his biggest foes after he manages to escape from prison: Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell). Gru, Lucy, Agnes, Miranda, and Edith must band together to stop Maxime from hurting Gru Jr. and return to prison once and for all.

‘Get Hard’
Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart are a dream team. The legendary comedians star in the 2015 comedy Get Hard, in which they both play to their strengths as polar opposites forced to work together. Ferrell stars as disgraced investment banker James King, who gets sentenced to prison after getting framed for a crime he did not commit. His only hope lies in Hart’s Darnell Lewis, the man who owns the local car wash. James wrongly assumes Darnell’s been sent to prison before and convinces Darnell to help him prepare for life on the inside, leading the two unlikely friends on a ridiculous adventure unlike anything either of them have experienced before.

‘Bee Movie’
Jerry Seinfeld stars in Bee Movie, an animated film from 2007 about a worker bee who becomes disillusioned with the one job prospect he has: making honey. After he begins developing a relationship with a human florist named Vanessa, he sues humans for stealing bee nectar. Starring a stellar cast that includes Renée Zellweger and Matthew Broderick, this flick has become a cult classic of sorts due to its bizarre romance. But now you can see it for yourself on Netflix.

‘Titan: The OceanGate Disaster’
If you were glued to the screen as the search for the OceanGate submersible was underway in 2023, Netflix now has a tell-all documentary unpacking everything that led up to that fatal descent. Titan: The OceanGate Disaster features testimonies from OceanGate’s former employees, journalists, and investigators who share how CEO Stockton Rush ignored dire warnings to take passengers down to view the remains of the Titanic in a carbon fiber submersible at over $100,000 a ticket. The documentary features footage captured by a videographer hired directly by Rush, which means viewers will get to see years of OceanGate footage from over the years while learning more about all of the fateful decisions that led the submersible to implode June 22, 2023, claiming the lives of five people onboard, including Rush.

‘Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy’

Now, the new Netflix documentary Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy shares first-hand accounts from survivors, paramedics, and security personnel who share why the event took such a drastic turn – all while Scott continued performing on stage, only to later be joined by Drake.

‘Straw’
Tyler Perry is back with a devastating drama starring Taraji P. Henson, Sherri Shepherd, Teyana Taylor, and more. Straw follows single mother Janiyah Wiltkinson who is struggling under the demands of motherhood, her daughter’s health issues, and her two jobs. One fateful day, Janiyah snaps after everything gets taken away from her. The day quickly spins out of her control as she does everything in her power to get her daughter back and to be able to keep a roof over their heads. Straw is much more than your typical Tyler Perry movie.

‘The Last Witch Hunter’
The Last Witch Hunter features a cast of stars you’d never expect to see on-screen together. Vin Diesel stars as an immortal witch hunter who recruits a priest (Elijah Wood) and a witch (Rose Leslie) to help him stop a coven of the world’s most evil witches from casting a plague on New York City that could spread to the rest of the world.

‘Plane’
It’s always great to see Gerard Butler playing the hero. In Plane, Butler stars as Capt. Brodie Torrance who completes an emergency landing on a nondescript island when his flight from Singapore to Tokyo gets struck by lightning. But Torrance and his passengers are left to fend for themselves while facing the violent militarists governing the anarchist island.
