“Squid Game” has unveiled the suspenseful main trailer for Season 3!
On June 1 KST, the popular Netflix series released a new trailer for its third and final season. “Squid Game 3” will continue the intense saga of Seong Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae), who re-entered the deadly competition with a personal mission; Front Man (Lee Byung Hun), who concealed his identity to infiltrate the game; and the other surviving contestants who are facing the final chapter of the brutal game.
The newly released trailer begins with an eerie rendition of a popular Korean nursery rhyme as the terrified contestants step into the game area. There, they are reunited with the giant doll Younghee, who will be leading them in a different game this time.
Next, Gi Hun has an emotional outburst due to the guilt of surviving and returning alone after the death of his friend Jung Bae (Lee Seo Hwan). “Why didn’t you kill me?” he exclaims in rage. “Why did you let me live?”
Meanwhile, Front Man—who joined the game as a contestant under the fake name Young Il in Season 2—returns to his place as the head organizer of the games, watching Gi Hun from afar.
Following an action-packed series of glimpses of the bloody battles ahead, the trailer ends with Gi Hun dressed in a tuxedo as Front Man asks him, “Player 456, do you still have faith in people?”
